DECAGON RAISES $100 M TO BUILD AI AGENTS

Big news in the AI customer support space. Decagon just announced a $100 million fundraise, including $65 million in Series B funding led by Bain Capital Ventures.

In my article on why AI isn’t hype, I highlighted the growing potential of AI, and Decagon is delivering. They’re doing it the right way with flexible autonomous agents that can handle more complexity and nuanced situations. Generative AI capabilities along with powerful integrations makes Decagon an innovative player in the fast-developing space.

Companies like Duolingo, Notion, and Rippling are already using Decagon's AI to handle customer interactions across the product journeys, resulting in significant efficiency gains. For Bilt, Decagon’s AI manages 70% of their monthly 60,000 tickets, saving hundreds of thousands of dollars each month while elevating the role of human agents to focus on more impactful work. Bilt is realizing what it’s like to deploy NextGen CX agents.

As Jesse Zhang, CEO of Decagon, put it: "AI agents are enhancing jobs, not replacing them. In a few years, every company will have AI agents running their customer experiences."

Exciting times ahead for the future of customer support! Check out Decagon's progress if you're interested in seeing how AI can truly transform CX, and contact me if you’re ready to start your own AI journey.
